I love the description of the relationship from their youth, just a connection and comfort with each other. Who wouldn't want to have something that pure and uncomplicated. Loved blakes description of why people don't share all their history at first.
This book is awesome. Lissie knew from the time she was 6 at the Lake House who she wanted to marry. But after her cousin was desperate need of a wedding planner. She calls on Lissie to come back to Kentucky. When she runs into the man she had a crush on when she was 6... Things start to come together. But will it be enough to hold them together?
I received a copy of this book for my honest review I absolutely loved this book. Was a very good love story about finding your soulmate
This is a beautifully written love story that takes years to unfold. The connection between Calista and Emerson began before either of them knew what love really was, and when their paths cross as adults living in opposite worlds, they fall right back in prefect sync. But her jaded opinion of love, and his rocky romantic past make it tough for them to believe there could ever be a happy ending to their story.
The main characters have unique back stories that make you want to know more about who they are and where they come from, while the supporting characters offer the perfect amount of drama and comedy. The city/country, past/present, parent/child, rich/poor contrasts within this story offer a reading experience that is dynamic and satisfying.
K.S. Thomas has created another wonderful romantic journey that all readers will enjoy!
This is a real story of soulmates! Despite planning weddings for a living, Lissy Luvalle is skeptical of love. When a family wedding emergency evolves, Lissy joins her family in Kentucky where her path crosses again with the hot, hunky cowboy Emerson Barrett. When she was only six, Emerson who was 16 at the time, spent the summer looking out and taking care of her. Almost twenty years later, he picks up right where their relationship left off. It's obvious to everyone except Lissy and Emerson that the two were meant to be together. It's a modern day Romeo & Juliet when you toss in the "other side of the tracks" drama. Their budding relationship and emotions kept me turning the page wanting to know when they'd finally get it together. As a sentimental person, I loved all the ties back to their childhood and adult life. This is a sweet story that will make you want to find the one to save the date with!
Loved this book. Another good read from K.S Thomas. Just another reason she has made my fav list of authors.
This was such a cute story. I loved the premise of this little girl making this special card to be saved. I was easily purchase this book again.
Very cute and light romance. Definitely along the lines of a "Hallmark" movie. (Read the book to understand the reference.) ) Quick, easy read that will keep your "awwww" meter full. Writing was great, characters were very lovable. Great job K.S.
